Condolences
Phyl has been a wonderful and true friend to all members of the Ross family since about 1958. Each night I say my prayers Phyl and Ralph are among those I bless. I hope Phyl is now joyfully reunited among all those she loves in Heaven. I hope to see you again Phyl and Ralph.
Dear Auntie Phyl will always have a special place in my heart. She was a very loving and loyal auntie/Godmother to me. I will miss her very much.
Thinking of all my family who are missing (my Great) Auntie Phyl. I have happy memories of my dad’s stories about Auntie Phyl on his trips ‘over the pond’. I’m hoping the fond memories everyone has will help to heal the sadness of her passing.
With love to my extended family in Canada.
My great Auntie Phyl has always been in my thoughts and memories, especially of the amazing time we spent with her and Shadow, for many weeks, in Calgary, when I was only 11. She was a very kind little lady who made awesome blueberry muffins.
She will be really missed by her family in the UK. X
Nan was one of the most amazing people I have ever known. She has always had more than enough love to go around to such a large family. I will never forget the time she was actually running around her yard playing soccer with my son who was 5 at the time and she was 88 at the time. I’m sure I was not the only grandchild that snuck eating her fresh peas from the garden. I loved her very much and she will be missed a lot. I am so glad my kids Jacob and maija got to know what a special person she was. She always made Sherrie feel a part of her family and she was thankful for that. I know she will be watching over us all. Thank you, Justin Rodway.
Although separated by the miles, Auntie Phyl has always been close to our hearts here in the UK. She was always so welcoming and was great fun when we saw her on her trips back “home” or on the too few occasions that we managed to spend time with her and Uncle Ralph there in Calgary. I loved her to bits and enjoyed exchanging newsletters and photographs over the years. A true lady who will be sadly missed but always fondly remembered.
So sorry to hear the news. Despite her age, my Aunty Phyl never became old. I will miss her letters full of wit, wisdom, exploits of the family and gardening tips. Her large English family are all thinking of you at this sad time but know that you, like us, will have so many happy memories.
