Condolences
Elizabeth always had a smile and a would share a laugh. I would tease her about being a model at the seniors fashion show and sponsoring my membership at Water Valley Golf Club. Playing cards with Elizabeth was always a hoot and she enjoyed her curling and golf games. I will miss her friendship – a great lady.
My deepest and heart felt sympathy in this time of great sadness. Liz was a special and dear friend of my parents as well as with all she touched with loving heart her warm smile and her kindness. She is a special angel and will sadly be missed, the world truly was a better place because Liz shared her journey with us. You are in my heart and prayers
Condolence to the Stone/Nagy Family from all the members of Cochrane Historical & Archival Preservations Society (CHAPS) Elizabeth was a valued member and volunteer. She will be greatly missed by all. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with her at the Cochrane Historical Museum.
Todd, Heather and families
We were so sorry to learn of the passing of your mom. She holds a special place in our hearts with her kind sweet smile and being part of our growing up years. All of our sympathy, Ann Rose, Deb and Ron Ward, Bob and Julie Rose and Robin Shaw
We extend our deepest sympathies in the loss of dear Grandma Elizabeth. We first met Grandma Elizabeth through the Grandparents Program at Elizabeth Barrett and over the past few years, she lovingly read and supported my boys through reading. She continued her loving and kind ways outside of the school–always stopping to say hello wherever we were in Cochrane, at the grocery store, shops, coffee house, or even at church. She even sent kindness through her packages (via the EB Principal) to my son when he was in the Children’s Hospital and asked me about him, and how he was doing. Her loving smile and kindness will be greatly missed by my boys, Lukas, Mathias and also myself. May her loving kindness, joy and peace she shared shine on with the angels in Heaven. She was greatly loved by us as part of her extended family.
Sending condolences to all of you. She touched many lives. May she rest in peace.
Todd and family, Heather and family.. Our families, the Beattie’s, Nagy’s, Peverell’s, Milligan’s, Blood’s Thompson’s and Davies grew up together. Liz had a uncanny nature of remembering everyone from past and present. We had many coffee’s at McDonalds reminiscing. My sincere condolences. Gloria Johnson ( Beattie)
I feel blessed to have been touched by Elizabeth. We played golf during one of her visits and had a wonderful time. I am glad my wife could be there for her and that Elizabeth could get know her great grand children here. She is missed and at peace.

Have known Elizabeth for many years and for the last 6 years we have volunteered together at Elizabeth Barrett school. She loved the children and they adored her, she was such a gentle soul. will also miss her at seniors on the bow where we often met. Rest in peace my friend
I volunteered with Elizabeth at Elizabeth Barrett School, over the last six years. She was dearly loved by all of the children she mentored there. We will miss her very much. Rest in peace, Elizabeth. ❤️
So sorry to hear of your loss. Elizabeth and I curled together in the Thursday Seniors Mixed League in Cochrane. She always had a smile for everyone. I am going to miss her.
Her smile says it all! She loved her busy life, being a Grandmother to her own and others in the schools, hitting those little golf balls many years at Watervalley Golf course, both with the ladies club and the seniors or just coming and finding someone to golf with at the Cochrane golf club. Playing cards, curling, you name it she was game. Community meant everything to her; she would do her fair share even if she was a wee bit late. We would always say it’s Liz coming – yup she phoned on her way. Rest well my friend you will be missed. May her family find comfort in knowing she lived her life the way she was content and Happy.
I was a friend of Elizabeth’s at Seniors on the Bow. She and I would have contests as to who could arrive first, as we both were inclined to be on the late side with our arrivals, and we had many laughs over this.
Elizabeth was a special person, with a great personality. She was caring and fun and I will really miss her.
Gone to soon, God rest your sole, rest in peace, condolences to all Elizabeth’s family, all our Love Ginny & Lyle Wilson.
