Obituary of Nora Curtis

1931 – 2016 It is with great sorrow that we announce that Nora Curtis of Calgary, AB passed away suddenly, but peacefully on Thursday, June 9, 2016. Lovingly remembered by her children, Debra Voorheis, Charles Curtis, Linda Curtis, and Doug Curtis (Heather Moore), beloved Nana Nora and Grandma to Curtis Miller, Andre Trudel, Anne & Kate Voorheis, Christopher & Daniel Curtis, Alex Curtis and Sam Coulter, great-grandmother to Leo Christopher Colbourn. Nora was born into a large Irish Catholic family, and was one of 16 siblings. She is survived by her two sisters, Lois Bright and Mabel Hlushak, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Nora’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. The family invites you to join them with your fond stories of Nora. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
