Condolences
Meaghan,
I’ve been thinking of you, and thinking about what to say. My heart feels for you, I am so sorry. I can see your Mum smiling and laughing when I think of her. My most recent memory was speaking with your Mum on the phone when I was in Australia. I was having a hard time, and I just remember how her genuine compassion and understanding made me feel. It made me feel very loved. Your Mum always had her heart open. She will be missed.
Sending you a warm hug and lots of love,
Emily
Sending you warm hug
So sorry and sad to hear about Carol. The last time we saw her was when she visited dad at his nursing home in Burlington. We had a wonderful time talking about happy memories and family. You will be much in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.
I have so many wonderful memories of Carol during our year at BLTS. And though we seldom met after graduation she has often been in my thoughts. I’m glad we had the brief opportunity to reconnect at our reunion several years ago. Our prayers are with you as you mourn her passing.
I was surprised and saddened to hear of Carol’s passing. She was a bright spot in my life for a while way back in the early 70’s. May our good God be a source of comfort and strength for you as you deal with her loss.
Hi Heather,
Mum told me about Carol. I am sad for you that you have lost your sister. And for all your family members who will be missing her too.
Please accept my sincere prayer that you will all be able to hold up as best as you can.
I sure enjoyed any chats I got to have with Carol. She was always kind and thoughtful and interested in what was happening in my life. Not a lot of people are like that!
She will be missed.
Big hug to you, Heather and family.
Liz and Tuppy Tyler

To all of Carol’s friends and family:
Was very sad to hear this news and sincere condolences to all who knew Carol and her vivacious personality. Haven’t seen her in many years but I look back on the old “Points of Call” days with much fondness. RIP dear Carol – it was a pleasure knowing you.
With sad regards,

Heather, Paul, Ainsley, Rachel and Meaghan,
We were so sorry to hear about Carol. She adored you all and you were such a large part of her life. I am so happy Heather, Meaghan, Carol and I were able to spend Christmas in January!!!! It will always be a fond memory. Hug each other a little tighter these next few days. You are very fortunate you have such wonderful memories. You are very fortunate you have each other.
Curt, Paula, April and Mark Whitteron
Other people’s messages about the laughter and fun certainly ring true in my memories of Carol. Particularly pajama parties where her parents (and others) put up with a gaggle of giggly young teens in the basement and we used the Ouija board to find out if a certain boy “liked” us.
Condolences to Carol’s family.
Dear Meaghan, Heather, Paul, Ainsley and Rachel.
Our hearts are heavy for you all as you mourn the loss of Carol. A beloved mother, sister, sister-in-law and Aunt. Meaghan, we know how much your mother loved you and wanted the very best for you always. Heather, you were Carol’s ‘little sister’ and you had that special bond that exists between sisters. Ainsley and Rachel, you will be there we know, to love and support Meaghan. We will always remember Carol’s lovely smile and kind heart, we are so glad to have known her. We send our love and prayers to you all and pray for your peace and comfort. God Bless. Maureen and John Tidridge
Dear Meagan and family
My name is Sheila from Salon Savella I have known carol (your mom ) for many years. Our mutual friend Joan Godderis had sent her in to me years ago and we always had a beautiful time when she was in , and she loved the end result of her hair everytime , when I would twirl her around ! Carol would share stories with me and always she would chat about her beautiful daughter, you were the light of her life
Meagan. I know she will be missed by you and all her friends and family. I will miss her lovely face and chats also. My sympathy, Sheila Kobelka.
Meaghan……So sorry to hear of the death of your Mom. Your Mother gave you a precious gift in leaving you beautiful memories of your life together. You must be very proud of her accomplishments over her lifetime…..what a woman! Know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless. Aunt Dianne and Uncle Joe.
Heather, I am so sorry for your loss. This came as such a shock to me, so I can’t imagine how difficult it is for you. It’s hard to realize how long it’s been since I saw Carol but she has been in my thoughts often.
Sincerely,
Jane Clough (Miller)
Heather, Meaghan, Ainsley and Rachel. I was shocked and so sorry to hear about Carol’s passing. There wasn’t a time we spent together when we didn’t end up laughing and carrying on. For all the struggles she had, she always maintained her sense of fun. That carries you a long way. It’s such a sad time, but enjoy reminiscing about the good times and those lovely memories.
Tons of love. I’m thinking about you all.
George.
It is with profound sadness that I read Carol’s obituary today. Carol and I grew up together in Virginia Park and went through grade 1 to grade 12 together. We lost touch after Carol moved to Calgary, but Mrs. Hawley always kept us up to date on her and Meg. So many memories we shared!!! My sincerest condolences to her family in the loss of such a wonderful person.
I have fun memories of times Carol and I shared. If we were working together, socializing , doing errands or having a coffee we were sure to have at least one good chuckle. I am sorry we had lost touch. Meg and Heather, my deepest condolences on the loss of your Mom and Sister.
So sorry to hear about Carols death. We spent many happy hours with Harry and Norma and their girls Carol and Heather. Our prayers are with you Sheila Loosley
So sorry to hear about the passing of Carol. We pass our love and sympathy to her family
