My condolences to John’s family. I was lucky enough to meet John down at Fish Creek nine years ago while walking the family dog. We would talk about world events, Dancing With the Stars, music , etc. It truly will not be the same at Fish Creek, not seeing John’s smile or looking forward to our little chats will be missed.
We remember happy times on Atlanta Cr. with Banny and also his amazing carpentry skills! Condolences to your family. Don & Patsy
It’s been a long time since we have seen Banny but have many good memories from growing up a few doors down from the Bannisters on Atlanta Crescent in Acadia. Our families had the usual neighbour camaraderie complete with parties, BBQ’s etc. We remained close for many years and we had the privilege of having Banny as our MC at our wedding reception in 1981. His laid back personality along with his sense of humour provided many laughs as he guided the evenings events. Glen, Dean and Jeff, and the rest of the Bannister family, our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
My deepest condolences to the bereaved family. John is in heaven and in good hands. My thoughts are with you all most especially Jeff who has been a brother to me since I met him.
