Obituary of Roberta Denise FRANKOW

May 21, 1959 – Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan April 30, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta Roberta Frankow died April 30th, 2016 at the age of 56 Roberta was born in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan. She grew up in Swift Current and graduated from the Swift Current Comprehensive High School. She then attended the University of Saskatchewan. She moved to Calgary and began work with Pan Canadian as a contractor in the land department. Roberta had a long and successful career in the oil and gas industry and retired two years ago from Cenovus Energy. She moved and settled in Didsbury and loved being part of the community. Roberta was loved by so many wonderful friends and family. To the ladies and gentlemen in and around Calgary that she worked or associated with, she would thank you for all the years of good fortune and friendship. To her friends in Didsbury she would want you to know she loved you all. To her family, dearest girlfriends and all the recent new found friends who have been so supportive during this difficult time, she would want to thank you for your kindness and compassion. To the son she never got to know, she would have loved to have done so. To all of you, she loved you with all her heart. Roberta will be forever in our hearts. We will remember her for her generous nature, with the sun on her face, sitting in her garden, music playing, a book in one hand, a glass of wine in the other, her cats on her lap sharing a laugh surrounded by her friends and family. A celebration of life will be held at the Woodcreek Community Centre in Calgary (1991 Woodview Drive S.W.), on June 18, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
