Condolences
Sorry for your loss, I haven’t seen Shorty in many years. He was my daughter “Darla”‘s God father and I enjoyed him immensely years ago. Our lives took us down different trails and I am sorry that I didn’t have him in my circle to enjoy his witty remarks and to feel his sensitivity and kindness. I know that he will be missed. Blessings to all of you!
So sorry for your loss. I am unable to attend the memorial. God bless. Love
Marlene MacKay.
Lisa’s and Patrick’s grade one teacher.
So very sorry to hear of the passing of Bill. He was an amazing, kind, gentle soul with a witty sense of humor. I first met him as principal of Brebeuf when I started as a grade 3 student. Later he was my supervising principal when I became a Student Teacher. In his final years at the Colonel Belcher, he was a wonderful friend to my mother. A significant influence in my life to be sure. You will be terribly missed “Shorty”
So sorry to hear about Shorty’s passing. He was a great teacher and sports enthusiast. I loved getting together with him on my visits from Cape Breton. My sincere condolences to all of his family.

I am so sorry Zack and Kelly to learn about the passing of your father. I know he was a wonderful presents in your lives. I wish you all peace and comfort at this time of grieving. Loss is never easy, short or kind. He was a cool dude. Celebrate his life well. Love to you all.
I offer my condolences to the Gormley family. Mr. Gormley was the principal at Brebeuf during my years there and I recall him being a dedicated and kind leader. He was also a good friend to my Uncle Vince LaCoste so he touched my life and my extended family. I will always carry fond memories of him.
Mr. Gormley was our vice-principal at St. Peter’s Junior High School roughly during the years 1960-62. We were so well behaved that I don’t recall anyone having to go and ‘see’ Mr. Gormley.
Mr. Gormley was famous for bringing Jacques Plante (the first NHL goaltender to wear a mask) to the school as a guest.
I am glad to hear of Bill’s successful career and would like to extend my sincerest condolences to his family.

My condolences to Mr. Gormley’s family. He always seemed to have a smile at Brebeuf and had a even hand during tough times. Not long ago my parents met him and asked about their kids behavior to which he replied…what went on in school stayed in school! His memory will live on, Teresa Hornett
Rest in peace Mr. Gormley. You were a wonderful principle at Brebeuf. You will be missed.
