Obituary of Benjamin August KESSLER

September 17, 1928 – Medicine Hat, Alberta January 31, 2016 – Medicine Hat, Alberta Ben beloved husband of Paulina Kessler, passed away on January 31, 2016 at the age of 87 years. Ben enjoyed the opportunity to travel and manage numerous projects all over the world. He worked for the same corporation for well over 64 years. An avid outdoorsman, Ben enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing with close friends and family. He relaxed with needlework and his work is proudly displayed in the homes of family and friends. Ben and Polly moved to Edgemont in 1973 and both were long standing members of the Silver Springs Golf and Country Club until 2015. Ben and Polly worked tirelessly on behalf of the Parkinson Society. Ben is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Paulina (Rawluk); daughter Dawn Hermann; son Grant (Barbara) Kessler; grandchildren Jennifer (Dwain), Rachel, Nicholas (Veronica), Sarah (Max), Jeremiah, Laura and Michael; great grandchildren Grace and Esmee, Rowan and Linden, Scarlett; sisters Dorothy, Annabelle, Marion and Victoria as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their children. Ben was predeceased by his parents George and Emma Kessler; son-in-law Ken J. Hermann; sisters Irene, Lydia and Florence; brothers William, Ed, Rueben and Al Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, February 06, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
