Obituary of Lilly Leola COLE

Lilly (Lil) Leola Cole of Calgary passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at the age of 81 years.
Lil served her community with passion, volunteering well over 13,000 hours with Carewest. In 1998, she was awarded the Calgary Community Achievement Award for her volunteering. She was also an avid Calgary Flames fan.
Lil leaves her loving family, her sons, Keith (Karen), Bruce (Pamela) and Brian (Pam); daughter Diane (Rob) Webb; and twenty-seven much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Muriel Bryanton and Margaret Barnard; and brother Elton (Joan) Gunning.
Lil was predeceased by her beloved husband Captain (ret.) Vernon (Vern) D. Cole, MM CD, who passed away in March 2004; and her son Vernon Wesley, who passed away in January 1980.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through .
