Uncle John,
You are never forgotten. When I told my dad (Leonard Duffy-brother in law) all he could do was remind me of the good time he had when you took him for a plane ride. You will always be flying high in our hearts.
David Duffy and family
To Joan and family:
We are all thinking of you.

To Aunt Joan and family:
I remember Uncle John as quiet and soft-spoken. Always humble and unassuming with respect to his many accomplishments. He was always helpful when approached. He provided assistance to my son some years ago, when research was needed into an ancestry search for a project on the battle of Vimy Ridge. Uncle John was forthcoming with information and materials he had collected over the years. We will miss his knowledge, his intelligence, and his compassion.

Our thoughts and condolences are with you and your family. We took care of John’s airplane for almost 20 years. He was an enthusiastic supporter of aviation and a professional pilot at all times through and through. The aviation community will miss him, as will all of us who knew him and held him in high regard at the Calgary Airport.
To the family of the late John Farnham:
We are saddened by the passing of a very respected gentleman. He brought professionalism to his role as a pilot and gave confidence to all the passengers entrusted to him. We extend our sincere condolences.
Jim and Betty (Simmons/McPercival)
To Joan and Family,
Bettie and I extend our heart felt condolences to you at this time. As I wrote to John just a few weeks ago, our friendship was born by our mutual experience as fighter pilots in the RCAF flying the same iconic aircraft, the F-86 Sabre. That brought us together in the ex Sabre pilot’s group, SPAADS. John, was a true gentleman and will be sorely missed by his flying fraternity brothers.
