Dear Averil,
I am deeply saddened by the news of Gerald’s passing. Colin joins me in extending to you, James, Martin, Kevin, Philip and their families heartfelt condolences on your sad loss. I will remember with fondness the many friendly chats that Gerald and I had together at staff parties and special events, and I hope that such memories and the wonderful ones of Gerald that you will share with your family will somehow ease your sadness.
