Condolences
i am so so sad to hear this. I had no idea that Lauren was ill at all. She was my supervisor for 4 years with the lab and I absolutely respected and loved her. She talked all the time about her daughters and Gary and how proud she was of all of you. I wished so much I had known she was not well . I also had a daughter who played for the dino soccer team and I always mentioned Lauren and how her daughters were so famous. Please contact me. I am thinking of all of you and know I was always in awe of your mom. I loved her.
Dear Gary, We are so sad to read about Lauren’s passing. We send our deepest sympathy to you, your daughters and all of your family. May you find comfort and strength in your grief from all of the wonderful memories you cherish.
Sincerely, Fran and Tom Cormack

Gary, Jill and Lisa, our thoughts are with you as you mourn the loss of such a generous, vibrant and wonderful person.
Gary, Jill and Lisa; Glenn and I cannot begin to tell you how saddened we are with the passing of your Mom, Lauren. She had a beautiful way about her, elegant, good sense of humor, a very dear and caring person. We are so thankful to have had the time we did golfing together in Mazatlán, dinners she cooked for us and pleasurable fun I had welcoming her to our sisterhood of Mazatlán, by giving a sparkly shirt she loved of mine so much. I wrote a poem I would like to share with your family to help you through this difficult time and remember our thoughts are with you always.
We often look for the sun to be our guiding light,
even when it starts to go down.
We often look for the rain to water what grows,
and clean what is dirty beneath us.
We often look for the stars to give direction,
when we feel we may be lost.
We often look for our Mother,
to get us through all that ails us.
Mothers are our guiding light,
Mothers are the ones that could stop our tears from falling,
Mothers gave our direction in life and always found us when we were lost.
There is no greater loss, than the loss of a Mother,
the very person whom gave you life,
now has lost her own.
So now when you see the sun,
think of it as your Mother shining down upon you.
And when it starts to rain,
think of it as all the tears you cried for her.
Then when you see the stars at night,
there will always be one brighter,
it will be the one of your Mother
to say she found you when you were feeling lost.

Thinking of you at this very sad time. Our sincere condolences to you and your family Gary. We will miss her.
My mother and I are so sorry for your loss Gary, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Lauren and you opened your door and welcomed us to Canada; As a kid and new comer, I have never been inside of a residential house until she opened the door; I have never had a traditional Christmas dinner until she invited us and cooked all the delicious foods. She truly made us feel warm and comforting during the dark and cold months of winter and we will never forget her help and her kindness.
She will be missed.
Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time
We will miss Lauren’s smile, her laughter, her sense of humour and most of all, her outstanding courage. We will always treasure the great times we had together whether it was playing golf, travelling or sharing dinners and drinks . She always made us feel welcome in her home and was a wonderful hostess. She had a deep love for Gary, her daughters Lisa and Jill and her sister Joan and will live on their lives forever. Our sincere condolences to each of them at this very sad time.

We will miss her very much. She was always smiling and loved life. We will never forget the wonderful times we had together with are families. All the great trips to Idaho, Mexico. Spokane etc. and the good food that Lauren always cooked. She sure was a great cook. Have lots of pictures of skiing, golfing and enjoying great wine and beer after. We offer prayers and sincere condolences to Gary and the girls.
What a lovely person Lauren was. We enjoyed knowing her, playing golf with her and Gary in High River and Arizona over the years. Always very thoughtful and kind. She will be missed very much.
What a lovely picture of Lauren. We looked out the window the other morning and saw cross country ski struck. Thought of her right away. She was always the first one out there after a fresh snow fall.
She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
We were saddened to learn of Lauren’s passing. We send our love and sympathy to Gary and their daughters at this very difficult time. We hope you find some comfort knowing that Lauren is resting in peace.
Sandy and I are very sad to hear of Lauren’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Gary and the family.

Lauren was a loving and caring friend for over 50 years and I valued her friendship. My husband and I enjoyed spending time with Lauren and Gary. Together we belonged to gourmet clubs, camped, skied, golfed, travelled and raised our daughters. So many good times and so much laughter.
