I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Arthur. I didn’t have a lot of contact with him. but had the pleasure of staying at his home with Jean one time when we were in Calgary. He was such a nice person who felt very strongly about all of his family. I am so pleased he was able to see so many of you at the gathering just before he passed. He will be missed very much. My thoughts are with all of you.
Love Gail
Dear Chris and Tracy,
I was very sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. As you know, Art and Carol were like second parents to me. I will forever remember Art as a generous man who cherished family, friends, and the good things in life. I will miss him.
Love, Peter
Chris, I have many many fond memories of the times that I spent with your Dad (and your Mom) on the many occasions I was invited to their house on Christmas Eve and other occasions. In particular, I have such fond memories of the times that we spent down in Palm Desert as their guests. Your Dad (and Mom) were so welcoming and I always felt comfortable being a guest in their house. I will keep and cherish those memories forever.
Your friend,
Michael O’Brien

To The Lugg Family.
It is with great sadness hearing of Art’s passing. Both Art and Carol were two of my favorite friends of my parents. I enjoyed our time golfing together, as well as many fond memories dining out afterwards. The times that I was always included whenever Dad got invited for dinner is something I miss and will never forget. They both always made me feel like family, and are both greatly missed. My condolences during this difficult time.
