Obituary of John Robson Rob SHIPLEY

SHIPLEY, John Robson “Rob” August 2, 1931 – Washington, County Durham, Great Britain November 27, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta Rob passed away peacefully on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the age of 84 after a long struggle to stay on this earth with his wife of 58 years and best friend of 76 years, Doreen. Rob was a devoted husband and father. Trained as a mutli-disciplined engineer, he traveled the world as an engineer with his family. Eventually settled in Canada in 1981 where he made his home in Calgary, Alberta. Rob will be lovingly remembered by his wife Doreen, children David (Rosanna), Michael (Marieke), Andrew and Peter (Adriana); grandchildren Alistair, Ethan, Duncan, Arles, Aiden, Roan and Jaxon. He was predeceased by his grandson Jesse. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
