February 8, 1959 – Winnipeg, Manitoba October 21, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta Peacefully on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, surrounded by the love of her family and friends, Judy passed on to be with her Lord and Saviour. She will be sadly missed by her Aunts; Helen, Irene, Linda, Ann and her Uncle Don as well as many treasured cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her dear parents, Walter in 2004 and Betty in 2011. Judy was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on February 8, 1959 and raised in Brandon. After taking first year Science at Brandon University, she returned to Winnipeg to train as a medical laboratory technologist at Red River Community College. Thereafter, she worked at Westman Regional Laboratories in Brandon for some years and then moved to Calgary. Here, Judy saw an opportunity in Real Estate and started a new career. She did well receiving top sales awards and honours of distinction for her hard work. She lived her professional life according to the values that she practiced in her personal life, with integrity, determination and respect for her fellow man. A ready smile and friendly word of greeting were always offered to those who crossed her path. Judy was a loyal friend with a generous and loving heart. Her caring and compassionate nature extended to everyone she met. “Judes” lived her life with an amazing sense of style and flair. She loved The Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart, and He was her strength and joy. In 2012, Judy married her best friend, Raymond Galloway and embarked on a new stage of life. He never left her side during her courageous battle with cancer. Our sincere thanks to Dr. Hoang and the Chinook Hospice staff and Dr. Karen Seigel for their kindness and care. We would especially like to thank our friends and family for their prayers, love and support.
