Obituary of William Alexander McCUTCHEON

February 23, 1948 – Vancouver, BC August 13, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta Bill passed away at the age of 67, from the complications of diabetes. He was the son of Alexander and Eleanor McCutcheon of Vancouver. His parents and younger brother Robert predeceased him. Bill graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. In his younger years, he was active in sports, particularly those of the more daredevil variety, like skiing, parachuting and scuba diving. Bill was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for two tours of duty, the last one of which took him to CFB Ottawa in nearby Rockcliffe. He was also heavily involved in Federal politics as a board member for the Calgary Center Constituency Association, and worked tirelessly as a volunteer for Lee Richardson. Bill’s most recent passion was cars, which he bought and sold at local car auctions. He is survived by relatives in Ireland and his cousin, Donnalee, in South Carolina. Bill will be lovingly remembered by Monica, his best friend and partner. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
