My Uncle Ivan was known for his unwavering helping hands and I personally can vouch for the truth behind that reputation.
Even when our lives were going in different directions he didn’t hesitate to pick up the phone and call just to catch up.
He will be missed by many. And I know that Tracey, Richele, Brian, Brett, Liz and the grandkids will miss him more than anyone.
Rest in peace, Uncle Ivan.
I will always think of Ivan with a smile and remember his humor and quick wit, as well as how much he truly loved his family. We are so sorry that he has passed and send our most sincere condolences.

To- Tracey and the Olson Family
Our thoughts are with you at this most difficult time.
Like many of the parents in Bonavista Downs in the late seventies and early eighties, Ivan was a great family man and father to all who hung around there house, nearby parks and rink. Ivan’s youthful charm and quick wit made him standout. Even later in life when I bumped into him, he was always smiling and giving me a quick dig about the past. The world lost another good one, RIP Ivan.
Richele, Brett, Tracey and Family, please accept our deepest sympathy.
Harold Harris & family.
