Condolences
My heart goes out to the family at this time of loss. I enjoyed my visits with Delia when she lived in High River, AB and I had an opportunity to visit her again in Penticton, BC. She was a wonderful lady. I miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless! Elizabeth Kohlhammer
Please accept our deepest sympathy to all of Delia’s family. Delia was a truly wonderful soul and all will cherish her memory. My daily trip to Kelly’s store with my kids to get the paper and the groceries was a happy time. A cheery chat with Delia was part of the routine.
We live in Saskatoon now but will always have fond memories of those bygone days.
Sincerely,
-Donna
How fortunate it was that we got to visit with Delia, Gerry and Keith along with Audrey Steiert on the occasion of Bill Perks funeral in Trochu in July. My mother Margaret was able to share stories about their places of residence and Delia had a good visit with Julie Perks. What a full life and wonderful sense of humor.
I met my Grand Auntie Delia when she visited Ireland 20 years ago. The thing I remember most about her was that she was warm, fun loving and loved to laugh and joke. I remember it being such a great event for all the extended family here in Ireland and I know that it must have been one of the happiest time in my Granny’s life to see her sister again after such a long time.
So even though I only knew her for a short time, she made a big impression and will not be forgotten. I would like to offer my deepest condolences to all the family. My sympathies are with you all.
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate the life of a wonderful lady. I have many happy memories of Dee at the grocery store in Alsask. My Mum, Marge, passed away 2 weeks ago in Cochrane. I mourn your loss with all my heart.
We are so sad to hear of the loss of your dear Mom. It was special to have bit of a chat with her at Dad’s funeral and renew the family connection. We all have so many memories to share of family times and it is those wonderful memories that keep us going after we lose the people we hold closest in our hearts. I’m so sorry that we are not able to make it to the service but I will be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. Love Arleen
Oh precious Delia. As a young teenager you always made me laugh especially when you were together with Kitty Steiert.. I have so many fond memories at the store and at the dances in the Alsask hall when I went with my mom and dad (John and Ann Steiert). And kevin was a sweetheart! The joy of the Lord was your strength and you shared that joy with all you met in your lifetime. Prayers and blessings coming your way to all the family♡
We wish to offer our deepest condolences for the Kelly family. Dave has known Delia for decades and has often been the recipient of her generosity and prayers. Our younger children visited her in recent years and received the most caring and fun reception. We return the favors and kindness to Delia as she journeys towards eternal salvation with our prayers for her and her family that will miss her dearly
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Mrs. Kelly was a beautiful, kind person. She had the unique ability to make you feel important, cared for and listened to. As a child I always felt welcome and safe in her home. The memory of those long ago, childhood days, have always made me smile.
My condolences to the Kelly family. I was just recalling fond childhood memories of Kelly’s store in Alsask. Mr. Kelly was always in the back looking after the meat department and quite often had a joke or two and Mrs. Kelly in the front, running the register and watching over the candies (with the occasional sneak behind the counter for a treat before my mom got up to the front)! :) I don’t think I ever saw those two people sitting down! My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rest peacefully Mrs. Kelly – time to put your feet up!
I remember Aunty Delia’s visit to Ireland well and remember her as a lovely and funny lady. It was great to see her and Nanny Greaney chat well into the night. We would like to express our deepest condolences and sympathy to all the family. May she rest in peace.

It was a privilege to call Delia my friend. I loved her feisty no nonsense attitude, her sharp wit, and her wicked sense of humor. I loved her. My heart is sad. I will miss her very much. My deepest condolences to all her family.
