Condolences
Sad news. Condolences to Peter’s family.
While Chair of the Construction Division of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering, Peter talked me into becoming his successor. We had good times. One thing that sticks in my memory is the twinkle in his eye when he told a humorous story. I think that is why a smile always comes to my face when I think of Peter.
Dearest Agnes, Bryan & Lynne, Karina, Reg, Alex, Ilyanna, Christina, Steven, Sydney & Mackenzie, and Pete’s Ontario family we share in your sadness for the loss of Pete. We have such great memories of times spent at dinners and celebrations and even times in BC. Pete will be remembered for his genuine interest in each person that he met, his stories, and the twinkle in his eye. Uncle Pete was an adopted Grandpa to both Laura & Mira and loved dearly by us all. He is loved and will be missed dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rest peacefully Pete. Much love to you all; our thoughts and prayers are with you. Gary, Shirley, Laura , Mira, Luke, and Grayson.
I offer my sincere condolences to his family and all of his the colleagues at the University of Alberta. May God bless his soul and may he rest in peace.

From University of Alberta Alumni:
I am deeply saddened by the news of Professor Dozzi passing. My thoughts and prayers are with our friends and his family. Peter was one of the three professors while I was one of the early graduate students in the CEM program. He brought a lot of field experience and construction professionalism to the classroom. He will be truly missed. May his soul rest in peace.

From the Academic Community:
Truly sad news, may God bless his soul and may he rest in peace. I recall my first meeting with Peter when he came to visit me and get material for what was a trail program at that time at U of A [construction program]. He was keen in making it a success. I am confident that he will always be remembered by his colleagues at U of A and those like me who had the opportunity to work with him on this major achievement. Rest in peace Peter.

The Dozzi/Caverson families from Sudbury wish to express their sincere sympathy to our brother and uncle’s family at this time.
As the oldest of the Dozzi siblings he was expected to show good example to his younger sister and brothers. For the most part he did do that ,but every so often he went off the rails and luckily we did not follow those examples. We had expected a visit from him last July however those plans did not work out. We looked forward to his phone calls which allowed us to catch up on news of our respective families. He was a caring and loving brother and we will miss him.
Christina,
My condolences on the loss of your dad. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs
Suzanne
Karina,
My deepest sympathy to you, your mother, your siblings and all your families. I have fond memories of our times in Edmonton while your Dad was teaching there. I was glad I had the chance to see him again here in Calgary. A donation will be made in his honour to the Heart and Stroke Foudnation. Take care of yourselves and know that I am always here for you.
Dear Agnes,
