Pat, Mr & Mrs Campbell
My heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your husband and son. Scott was one of the nicest people I’ve ever come across in Shell. I worked with him over the past year or so and found him always to be a polite, respectful and most of all, thoughtful, gentleman. He always made me feel at ease. I knew I could reach out to him with whatever question I had and he would dedicate time to my issues. Such a selfless approach. His last email to me apologised for his ‘delayed’ response, a reply which came within 2 hours of my email! That sums up Scott’s respect for others. I will miss his softly spoken approach which seemed to go so well with his personality. I hope our memories and the impression he left on others being shared in these dark days, provide comfort to you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Angie
Pat and family – I am so, so sorry for your loss. Scott was one of the nicest, most genuine, fun and instantly trustworthy people I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. He will be hugely missed as both friend and colleague. Scott was passionate about his work in Future Energies and brought a wealth of expertise and had a great skill in engaging folk from round the organisation to make progress that we wouldn’t have made without Scott. He was always calm, always retained a sense of humour and helped me and others keep things in perspective. Pat, I met you when I was stuck in Holland the weekend my bag was stolen. KNowing Scott, it didn’t surprise me that he had such a lovely wife! You were clearly soulmates and I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through without him. You and your family are very much in my thoughts. Rachael xx
Pat, I was so saddened with the news of Scott’s passing. The service yesterday was a lovely tribute to a kind, fun loving, wonderful man. There were many of us at the service from TCPL/WGML and Scott was a true friend to all of us. There is a special bond that you make at the start of a career with the people that you work with and their spouses, I recall a lot of the fun times we had together with you and Scott in the early days. Please keep in touch with the old gang.
Sincere Condolences,
Veronica
Words cannot express the feeling of loss we have now. Scott was a great friend, colleague and fellow resident at the Plaza Lofts. He always had a smile and good words for everyone. His generosity and kindness was a gift to all of us and he will always be remembered for both. He had a heart of gold and a glorious sense of humor. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers for Pat and the family will continue and our fond memories of our times together will last forever.
Lovingly,
Bill and Trudy

Marg and I wish you our heartfelt condolences and be assured in time your thoughts of Scott will bring smiles and fabulous memories.

Pat, our deepest heartfelt condolence to you and yours and Scott’s families.
Pat we met in Jan 1983 when Scott and I started at TransCanada together. Our fondest memories were from when the four of us began our journey of getting married and we began “Gourmet Nights” Our monthly gatherings of trying to cook food from different countries was a highlight we will never forget. Pat we were shocked at the sudden passing of Scott. We are here for you if you need anything.
My thoughts and prayers are with Scott and his family. I will always remember his smile, and positive outlook.
Pat, you have my deepest sympathies. Scott was a great guy, fun to work with, and exuded a real love of life. I always enjoyed catching up with him on your most recent travels. Would inspire me to book my next trip. Scott was a mentor to me, and he will be missed.
Chris

Our heart felt condolences and love are sent to Pat and all of Scott’s family. As an honoured brother in our family we have spent many a happy time together. When we came to you in Calgary, Waterloo and Houston, Scott showed us too many places to mention, where we had fantastic adventures and fond memories. We feel blessed to have known him. Despite the miles, Scott is very close to our hearts and will be greatly missed. He will be always remembered in our hearts and minds as a truly great Brother-in-law, Uncle and Great Uncle.

Pat and family My thoughts are with you all at this time. I have not seen Scott for many years but my memories of him are of respect when I worked with him at WGML. His smile and laughter I will always remember. The world was a better place to have had him in it!
Carol
My prayers for Scott and Pat.
Scott was one of the nicest persons I have ever met in my life. Always had a smile and something positive to say; wanting to hear more about you than say something about himself. I find it difficult to understand why life’s journey ends to soon for such beautiful people as Scott. We are only human and very incapable of understanding why such things happen. I can say with utter certainty that there is a heaven and that Scott is there.
My condolences to you Pat and your family. Scott was a great man and his passing deeply saddens. I have never seen a happier couple than the two of you, your love poured out and could be seen and felt by all around you. I will dearly miss Scott and that contagious smile of his.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families during this very difficult time.
Scott was so humble and kind. Scott and Pat were the best neighbors (and friends) anyone could have! We really enjoyed their friendship while living next door to them in Houston, eating out together and looking at Scott’s fabulous pictures/slides of many of their worldly travels. What wonderful memories of those adventures you will have to sustain you, Pat! We pray that the love and support of all your friends and family will see you through these difficult days and give you peace. Our thoughts are with you, your family and Scott’s family. Love to all of you!
Bonnie and John
