Donna and Family Sorry to hear about your Grandmother Olive. You were such a good grand-daughter to her. I hope all those wonderful memories of her help you through.
Olive was a dear friend of my Mom’s – May Hurlbut. We loved to visit with her and Mom enjoyed when we would pick Olive up and go for chinese food at the Hi-Ball restaurant in the Stadium Shopping Centre. Other times we would stop in for tea and Olive always had lots of treats in the cupboard to share with us. We picked Olive up to visit mom the week before mom passed away in 2013 and were pleased that mom recognized that her friend she’d known for years and years was there for a last visit with her.
