We were very sorry to learn of Kristen’s death. We so enjoyed her company at many “Old Wine Dinners”. She was a gracious and interesting companion. She will be missed by us all. Our sincere condolences to you and family at this sad loss.
My heartfelt condolences to you, Murray, and the family. I remember Kristen well from Balmoral and then our times spent together at the U of W. She accomplished many things in her life, but her legacy was her family and the life she shared with friends. My prayers are with you all.

Just a note to let you know how saddened I was to hear about Kris’s passing. I have known her since she was 7 years old and thought she was great right from the start. A truly beautiful person, inside and out. Just wanted you to know that I’m in your corner during this tough time.
I grew up spending many weekends over at the Carey household, as Kait was one of my childhood best friends. I always loved going over there because not only did Kristen make the best food, but she was always curious about what was going on in my life and never hesitated to lend a listening ear whenever I needed advice. I was fortunate enough to visit the Carey’s at their family cottage, and will never forget the fun that was had during those summers I visited. Kirsten always made me feel comfortable and part of the family. I knew her for 25 years, and will always remember her kind heart and her incredible artistic ability. I will miss her, and am thinking of the Carey family throughout this very difficult time. Xoxo
