Obituary of Douglas John LARDER

LARDER, Douglas John February 12, 1965 – Montreal, Quebec January 18, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta Doug was a loving son, brother, uncle, co-worker, and friend. Above all he was a proud father and devoted husband. Originally from Montreal, the family moved to Calgary in 2006. He took pleasure in making his loved ones happy, always planning great vacations, and always welcoming friends and family into his home, no matter the occasion. He was a dedicated employee of BHD Instrumentation who took pride in his work and passionately pursued his professional accomplishments. He leaves behind his two wonderful children, Claire and Christopher, and his best friend and wife, Sarah Caden. He will be sadly missed by his father George Larder, and his siblings Stephen (Linda), Barbara, Tracey (Patrick) and their families, his father-in-law Bob Caden, sisters-in-law Jessica Caden (Yves) and Alexandra Caden (Bruce) as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is predeceased by his mother Dorothy Larder and mother-in-law Maureen Caden. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street S.E.) on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
