Condolences
Our darling sister Barb, you’re are the best of the best !! A year ago today you got a speeding ticket to Heaven, getting there so fast. It’s ok though God paid for it. Now you’re helping him do his good work.
We miss and love you so much.—- Al, Carm, Trish Allan & Carmella. Daniel’s with you already.
Hard to believe it is almost 1 year since you died, my sister. I think of you every day and feel you are with me always. We love you and we miss you Barb…Eric and William
Barb had such a gentle, beautiful smile, laughing and giving. I saw her daily even though she was on the 11th and I worked on the 9th floor. She will always be in my heart. So sorry for your loss.
Bob, Ryan, Ashleigh, Glenn, Al and Eric:
What a beautiful service and tribute to a beautiful person.
I treasure the time spent with Barb on occasions over the past few years in St. Kitts, Mexico and here in Ontario. Special memories will never be forgotten.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Lynda Burnett (Dolmer)
I was so very sorry to hear of Barb’s passing.
Though I didn’t know Barb for very long or very well I felt as though I did.
I listened to stories of bits of her life from Tony and through him I learned to care for her.
I enjoyed Barb and Bob’s hospitality in Calgary and thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Allonby Cumbria.
My thoughts are with you all.
Bob, Ashley, Ryan, Al, and Eric
We watched the video stream of the service held for Barb last night. It was a very touching and might I add accurate portrayal of a lovely human being. Our thoughts are with all of you at this trying time. You all should be commended for your beautiful heartfelt thoughts of wife, friend, mother, and sister.
Sincerely,

To Barb’s Family,
I worked with Barb for several years in the Dept of Teacher Preparation at the University of Calgary. Barb was such a kind and calm soul who would spend a great deal of time getting to know students and go out of her way to try and help them. I used to tell her that she should not internalize a student’s problems so much as sometimes there was just so much we could do to help — but that was Barb’s nature for sure.
My thoughts are with you in this time of loss for your family, but also a time of loss for all of Barb’s friends and everyone she touched over the years. The world has indeed lost a gentle and giving person.

Dearest Bob, Ryan, Ashleigh, Glen, Eric and Al. I have now watched the service 3 times and each time I have wept and smiled and been suffused with love her my dearest friend. But I am filled up with joy that she left such a tremendous legacy in all of you. I miss her not just daily or hourly, but minute by minute. We are all blessed to have been loved by her. And through her I have love for all of you.
Our deepest condolences for the passing of Barbara.
Sincerely,
The Villaluz Family
I would love to have brilliant words to offer to Bob, Ryan, Ashleigh, Glen, Al and Eric but find myself at a loss for them as there just aren’t words that could do justice to such a wonderful person. We’re with you in spirit today and in the ones to follow.
A beautiful service for such a beautiful soul. She will be missed.
Great job on all the tributes, very well spoken and you can tell she touched a lot of hearts. We are thinking of all of you.

Barb, I did not know you for many years however the times we had together with you and Bob were always fun, your sense of humour, optimism and interest in people’s lives made it always interesting while you supported me in settling in a different environment. Even helping in the garden as if you had always done this. You were the best neighbor, I miss you !
