Obituary of Barbara Lynn

December 20, 1948 – Hamilton, Ontario November 3, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Barb on Monday, November 3, 2014 in Calgary at the age of 65 years, with her family by her side. To those who knew her, Barb will always be remembered as a warm, loving, selfless and compassionate person. She loved visiting the mountains, her cottage in Ontario and spending time with her family and friends. Barb will be dearly missed by her husband of thirty-four years Robert (Bob); son Ryan; daughter Ashleigh; son-in-law Glenn Locke; brothers, Al and Eric Dolmer; sisters-in-law, Carmelita and Ning-Ning; nieces, Trish and Carmella; nephews, Owen and William; and dear friends of over fifty years, Sue Booth and Shush Kocinski. Barb was predeceased by her parents Marion and Russell Dolmer. A Celebration of Barb’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to consider a donation to the Alberta Cancer Foundation. Barb received exceptional care from the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, and a donation would help that facility continue to offer this excellent care.
