Obituary of Patricia Trish McCALLUM

September 19, 1950 – Douglas, Manitoba November 2, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta Trish was very strong-willed to the end, got her last wish and passed away peacefully, in her own bed, in the comfort of her own home on November 2, 2014 at the age of 64 years as result of the complications of Multiple Sclerosis. Born in Douglas, MB, Trish moved to Brandon, MB where she grew up. There she married Robert and with his career of 38 years with John Deere they lived in Winnipeg, Edmonton, Yorkton, Regina, London, ON, Calgary, and Fonthill, ON. In 2012 they moved back to Calgary. Trish was a passionate gardener and loved golfing, skiing, curling, and walking the family dogs over the years. Extremely independent, vivacious with quick wit, she was brassy in public and classy in private. Trish is survived by her husband Robert, and daughter Joni Forsyth from Edmonton. Robert says “she was more than a loving wife; Trish was my best friend, and I can’t imagine life without her”. She will also be remembered by her brothers Robert Jones (wife Wilma) of Minnedosa, MB, and Allan Jones (wife Linda) of Calgary, and her nieces and nephews, Kristy Chorney, Angela Caston, Allison Faris, Lisa Buozzi, Ryan Jones, Heather Shaw, Tracey Jones, Jeremiah McCallum and Jonathan McCallum.
