Condolences
I was privileged to volunteer alongside Ron as he led campaigns, championed policies, mentored young people, and served Alberta. Ron's strategic counsel was sought after by elected politicians at the municipal, provincial and federal levels of government. Politically, I learned a lot from Ron about 'how to' run an effective campaign, the importance of following the Golden Rule, how to have the difficult conversations, and most, importantly, 'finish what you start'!
Ron created a respectful campaign environment where everyone's contributions were recognized.
He always stepped back so others could receive the spotlight. His 'can do' and 'will do' attitude
got the job done and in the process, he earned everyone's respect and loyalty.
Ron was a man of high integrity and I feel privileged knowing he was my friend.
Jeanette, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

Ron was a fun and intelligent back-room advocate in provincial politics for years. We had a fine time!
I miss that.
Condolences Jeanette and family.

Dear Jeanette and Family:
Please accept our condolences at the recent passing of your Husband, Father and Grandfather.
We met Ron and Jeanette during one of their many walks out at Windermere, BC and continued this
friendship back in Calgary.
Ron touched many people through Kinsmen, college affiliations, political involvement and especially
as a result of his remarkable career as an architect.
We trust that our thoughts and prayers will be of some comfort to you at this time.

Jeanette, please accept my condolences at this difficult time.
I want to remember Ron for his unreserved commitment to securing the 2005 World's Fair for this community.
It was always a pleasure to work with him on any enterprise that I had the fortune to be part of as well.

Ron's smile is what I will always remember - there was a little bit of gentle naughty behind it. Ron and Jeanette's kindness and generosity towards me (and other of Lynette's friends) was always abundant and welcoming. Thinking of you and wishing you strength and peace during this difficult time.
My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
