Condolences
From Kerby Centre Adult Day Program.
Sam was our client at the Kerby Centre Adult Day Program. He always had something funny to say. We all miss him and feel sorry for he is not with us anymore; his dear soul is the Heaven. Rest in peace Sam, and our condolences to your family.

My favorite memory of Deda was from about 9 years ago.
We were having a family function out at Auntie Lenora's in Millarville. Many persons had stayed for night, including myself, my son Braxton, and Deda.
Deda was always an early riser, as was my son Braxton who was roughly 3 years old at the time.
So when my son heard someone else awake downstairs in the kitchen, he had to go too.
I listened to Deda get Braxton a bowl of cereal for breakfast and get him situated at the big kitchen table that was taller than my son at the time. They settled down and were watching the television.
Out of the blue I hear my sweet son's voice ask, "Deda, can I tell you a joke?" To which Deda replied, "Yep!"
"Why are Dalmations no good at hide-and-seek?" Braxton asked. The house was quiet for a moment, then Braxton continued, "because they're always spotted!"
The burst of laughter that I heard echo in the house that morning was so infectious, it still carries with me today.
Even though on paper, Samuel Lloyd Yamchuk, is technically my Great Uncle, he earned the title of 'Deda' in our lives without challenge.
We Love You Deda!
Uncle Sam was a great man! I have many great memories of him that I will cherish forever. He reminded me lots of my dad, certain looks, his smile, the way he talked. I always wondered what my dad would be like if I had him growing up. I think I looked at Uncle Sam as Father figure and enjoyed each time we got together. I had great times with him playing card games, listening to UK and country music, visiting and telling stories, and family get togethers in many places over the years.
Uncle Sam will be missed but not forgotten. Now he can be with family and friends having a big UK party.

Dad,
It is with heartfelt thoughts that I sit here - to say that you have been a great man, and you have done so much in your lifetime. I can only say that your hard work has been instilled within us.
As God as sent for you, and for those who have passed before you the Celebration shall start, I know you will be walking through the farm fields, and looking for any signs - as we try to remember the last few days - I believe it is the lifetime I shall never forget.
As you start your Celebration - we to shall start ours. You have given so much of your life, it is only fare that we never forget. Your smile, your twinkle in your eye, those faces that you loved to do, the weekend card game and dice - who else is going to keep us in check.
You have a kind heart - never wanted or ask of anything in return.
You have taught us well - I for that I am grateful.
Your life here will not be forgotten - as I hold you in the highest regards - to you my heart is filled with pain and sorrow - but I must let God shower and guide you to your next journey.
Remember that we are here - and for those we will be strong - you be truly missed
Sending you all me heartfelt blessings, thoughts and prayers and your Celebration of next journey will begin.
Your Loving daughter
Salima
