Condolences
Joan was a beautiful person inside and out. We had many conversations over a glass wine during Happy Hour at the Royal Duke in Okotoks. I treasure the trip we took to Paris in 2013. We shared a sense of adventure, an appreciation of the history of the city, and many laughs. Joan's passing will leave a void in the lives of many, but she has joined her partner Bob whom she dearly missed. I personally feel such a sadness and will miss her presence in my life.My condolences to her children, their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren and all those who had the distinct pleasure of having been 'friended' by this wonderful lady.
I know just how much this beautiful lady will be missed by all of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and the many friends she made through her years. For those still to come into this family, there is no shortage of great stories about Joan to tell. I have many fond memories of family gatherings, summer bocce tournaments, our wedding, dinners, babysitting, wine, bridal showers, family weddings, baby showers and so much more. We are lucky to have one of her beautiful art pieces, gifted to us as a wedding gift. We will cherish it, always. She was one in a million and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Much love to all of her family
