Obituary of Susan Margaret (nee Harman) GILL

March 5, 1955 – Montreal, Quebec
December 3, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with much love and sadness that we announce the passing of Susan beloved wife of Wayne Gill of Calgary, AB on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the age of 64 years.

Sue passed away after a long, extraordinary and tireless battle with cancer. Sue passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Rosedale Hospice. Susan was born and raised in Montreal and worked for 42 years with Canadian Pacific Railway. Sue started her career in Montreal working for the Credit Card Bureau and then moved to Vancouver where she was part of the Engineering Special Projects team. Since 1982 Sue worked in Calgary for Special Projects and for the CP Real Estate group where she was Manager of Budgets and Reporting until she retired in 2014.  Sue loved to spend time at the family cottage in BC, travel on cruise ships with her family and friends, and to spend countless hours in the kitchen baking.

Besides her loving husband Wayne, of 42 years, Sue is survived by her son Chris (Marilyn), daughter Jenn (Matt), granddaughter Elise, brothers Doug and David, mother Jean, mother-in law Phyllis, and sisters-in-law Shaundehl (Michael) and Kirsti (Garth). Sue was predeceased by her father George, father-in-law George, and brother-in-law Warren.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
