Condolences
I was fortunate enough to work with Rick for a number of years on the HNB project for Social Development. Rick was patient, kind, and exceptional at his job. He had a wonderful, but slightly twisted, sense of humor which I always enjoyed. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. He will be missed greatly!
Very sorry and shocked to hear of Rick's passing. Our paths have crossed numerous times during our career and each time it was a true pleasure to work with him. I'm not sure if I have ever seen him not smiling. Deepest condolences to the family … and to our IT family that has lost a good one.

I would like to extend my condolences to Rick's family. I worked with Rick at MIT/MITI/xwave. He was my go to person for any Oracle database questions. I moved to Calgary from Fredericton 3 years ago and had spoken to Rick from time to time on IM and talked about meeting up for supper, unfortunately, this will not happen.

I would like to extend my condolences to Rick's Family.
It saddened me to hear of Ricks passing. I’ve known Rick for over 45 years, I met him when Tucker's moved to Silverwood in the 70s. I hung around his sister, Martha so Rick put up with a lot of our shenanigans throughout our teenage years! He also was kind enough to drive us to school some mornings, when we weren’t driving him crazy! In the later years I even had the pleasure of working with him at SNB, when he was completing a project for them. He was so easy to work with, he knew his stuff and he got the work done right!
I will always remember Rick’s smile, his sense of humour and kindness. I pray that you find comfort in your loving memories of Rick.
With My Deepest Sympathy

Rick was unfailingly helpful, courteous and a joy to work with. He will be sadly missed.
I'm sorry to hear of Rick Tucker's passing, and offer my condolences to his Family & friends. I worked with Rick for many years and I learnt much from him, some technical, and some as he was always so kind in any situation... and set a great example to follow.
I met Rick at the Department of Transportation "a few years ago" he was my mentor in my first position working in the information technology world ......... always smiling and helpful. A fond memory that still makes me smile - an evening out and about on the town - you and Lyle were having conversations that only you and he could understand ..... it was funny and a fond memory - something tells me you are together again. My condolences to Rick's family - RIP my friend.
I have not known Rick very long (+1year) but have enjoyed working with him on his latest project. Always a professional and leader, creative problem solver, patient teacher, and a great sense of humour. I know Rick will be greatly missed by the entire project team. My deepest condolences to Ricks family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
I too have known Rick for many years, dating back to xWave days. He always had a smile and a nice "how are you" greeting; and as the others have said here, was always ready to help, no matter what you were interupting. My condolences to the family!

I met Rick back in 1990 when I started working for the Dept. of Transportation in Fredericton, NB... We became good friends. He was always smiling, made you laugh, very witty, and very giving and would do anything to help you out. Anytime there was an office outing, you could count on Rick... he would be there and would make everyone laugh.
First fond memory that comes to mind, is when Rick, John, Lyle and myself went camping in Old Orchard Beach in order to see a few outdoor concerts (AC/DC, Joe Walsh, and others)... the concerts were amazing and we had a great time... and had a "few" of those cheap US beers!
He was great at his job, and anyone who worked with him would say the same...
It is with great sadness that I heard of his passing... I'd like to wish my sincere condolences to Darlene and his kids, and to the Tucker family. Thoughts and prayers go out to you all during this time.

I have known Rick for a lot of years and considered him a Great Friend, Colleague, Co-Worker and an individual that I have Great Respect and Admiration for. Rick had an infectious smile that won the respect and friendship of all of his co-workers who definitely held Rick in high esteem.
Rick and I have had many long conversations surrounding family and friends and he definitely let me know how much he loved those that were close to him. Richard and Rebecca your Dad loved you very much and he was always very proud of the two of you and brought you up quite often in conversations that we had and I was fortunate enough to meet Richard when he was home in October for his Grandfathers funeral and indeed was a very pleasant young man to talk to. Darlene I am very sorry that we have never gotten to meet but wanted you to know that Rick had nothing but kind words about yourself and I could tell that there was a very special bond between you.
Rick liked to refer to himself as MOTU; for the non-science fiction type “Masters Of The Universe”. In my eyes he may definitely have filled the role of He-Man who was supposed to be the most powerful man in the Universe as he clearly showed when it came to his Data Base skills and as an excellent resource in most IT related technologies which he loved to have long conversations about and was always thrilled to have you throw a challenge his way.
My Wife and I would like to send our deepest sympathies to Darlene, Richard, Rebecca and all of your family. A lifetime together is never enough. No words can express what Rick has meant to our team over the last few years. We would never have been where we are today without his expertise.
Thanks Good Buddy and Rest in Peace but knowing you the way that I do you are probably already trying to solve someone else’s computer problems.
