Condolences
Hello Nishizawa family, We are SO sorry to hear of the loss of Liam. Our deepest love and condolences sent your way. With love and prayers, Sandy, Pat, Jessica and Julia Groening
Liam’s laugh is one that I can still remember, years apart from hearing it. It broke my heart to hear of his passing as I knew him throughout our years at Fish Creek together. I hope he rests in peace and I offer my condolences to his family.
Liam put others before himself. He brought other people up, always seeing the best in them and sharing this with them. He contributed so much to so many people, and had a wonderful and positive impact on the many lives that he touched. There are no words to describe this tragedy and loss.
Liam and i talked about love a lot. what is love and what does it take to love someone? the only thing i know now is that i loved him. He always helped me when i was feeling down and always made me feel good. he was truly one of a kind. liam was the most genuine person i have ever met. i’ll miss him forever. with everything i do, with every step i take. love you forever, miss you for always.
The last time I would have written about Liam would have been on his grade one and three report cards, where I would have celebrated the exceptional young boy he was. I had the pleasure of teaching Liam for two years and am so sad to hear of his passing. Liam was kind, talented and had the biggest heart. Liam is remembered fondly by the staff at Fish Creek School. When he was in grade one his mom volunteered and read some of his favourite stories to our class. Liam was so pleased to have her there. I remember Liam’s enthusiasm when we made lunches for people in need to send to The Mustard Seed. Liam and his mom baked and packaged so many cookies and offered to deliver the hundreds of lunches we sent downtown. Afterwards, Liam returned to school and told the children how touched the people were to receive these gifts. He shared the message he had been told with his peers, that one small act of kindness can make a big difference in the life of someone who is struggling. These are but a few of the fond memories that stick with me about the great young person Liam was. Sending my deepest condolences to Liam’s family and everyone who was touched by his kindness.
Sincerely,
Kate Livingstone
I remember when Liam was still going to Sam Shaw, all my friends liked him. His smile was beautiful. It was one day when I was in grade 8 i had been holding all my books in my bag and I dropped them since they were too heavy right in front of him and all his friends. He grabbed my backpack and my books while most of his friends were laughing at how clumsy I was. He gave me my bag and smiled. That smile was the best smile I’ve ever seen in my life. He was beautiful and very kind. All my love and condolences to you guys❤️
Liam and I loved talking about the many places he and i traveled to, moreover his trip to Japan especially when he went to Yakushima. One morning he went out to have a breath of fresh air, only for a praying mantis to jump on his arm,he ran back shaking it off, though his father attacked it with a shoe and gauranteed it left through the doors, Liam spammed me with videos of ultimate shock and worry from the incident. It was the funniest thing ever, and when he got to school wearing his farmers hat, we joked about it so much I'd just say mantis and he'd shiver. --- There were many times i've been with Liam attempting bold moves, moreover the one that sticks to me is him sliding a pack of gummies across the hallway in attempt to ask a friend out to dance, he was succesful and I admire him for his courage. -- his sense of humour is contagious and amazingly spreads to everybody, in such light, during a time when we were bored, i had an orange i didnt eat, Liam took it and started drawing a face on it, we named it Birtha as it was the birth to a new age of art, so he called it. Liam's life has touched so many lives and impacted many people greatly. My condolences to his family. He is truly an angel who lived among us. Stay strong ♡ ~L.O
One time we went to petland and we saw a girl with four birds on her arm and she was talking to each one of them like her own. Liam pulled me aside and started laughing like crazy. He said “she thinks she’s Snow White,” and from then on we referred to her as Bird Girl
