Condolences
Dear family of Morag Stewart, today I received your beautiful card for Fanny. I too believe that our mothers are safe with each other and the other loved ones whom have passed before them. The image on the card of the women and child is especially fitting as my sister, Hedy, has gone to spend time with her grandson on the West coast. We can never be truly prepared for these times of sadness however the bonds which our mothers made living at Lake Bonavista Retirement Village I believe are timeless. Kind regards Karen Fynebuik & family
Grew up in Glasgow
As cousins 6 of us we were all close and we spent a lot of time together including many happy times in each of our homes
We all came to Canada in 1957
My special memory of Morag was her love for children when she finished work she volunteered at The Providence Creche where she helped care for the babies and young children and she absolutely loved it
I will miss Morag very much not only was she my cousin she was a friend and a very special lady.
You will never be forgotten Morag
Lots of love Tricia

I was so sad to hear Morag passed away. She was the first person I had dinner with when I moved to Lake Bonavista Village on Jan. 9, 2019. When I sat down at the table across from her I told her how pleased I was to see her name tag and that my maiden name was Stewart. As we talked we learned that we were both connected with places in the neighborhood from the early 1960’s. I felt like I was meant to be there. We didn’t sit together at dinnertime very often but Morag always smiled and waved to me at every mealtime as we passed each other. I learned of Morag’s death on Jan. 9th just a year from when we first met. I send my prayers and condolences to the Stewart and Mitchell families.
Randy and I were saddened to hear of the passing of Morag. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all the Stewart Clan. We were honored to have known such a kind and loving lady. She will always be remembered for smiles and laughter, and her generosity. Know that Morag loved her family, and cherished her Grandchildren. We will never forget this wonderful lady.
