Walter, my beloved brother!
The loss I / we feel can not be put into words.
To your loving family!
You have our deepest sympathy, our thoughts and prayers are with you, may the comfort of God help you during this difficult time.
Remembering my brother at a very young age, you were very afraid of grasshoppers, but when only about seven years old had no fear of driving our car Fićo from Labin all the way home to the farm standing up because you were so little you couldn't see out, determent you can do it, and you have. You also outgrew your fear of grasshoppers and later became a hunter and loved it.
So many great memories, from naming our daughter Sandra to being our sons Patrick Godfather, to helping build our home , always ready and willing to give a helping hand.
Your smile lit a room, you had both energy and charisma, you loved life and life loved you!
Will never forget our rides home from work, you were full of jokes, when listening to you and your adventures as a single young man, even then you were not only my little brother, you were my COOL little brother.
As life went on and took different turns, how I now wish we only had more time, still wish you are here. Just know how proud I was and am, with all that you have become and achieved.
Thank you for a lifetime of beautiful memories, for me and my family just know, you were always loved and will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Now that you are in heaven may the angels comfort and watch over you, may your soul forever rest in peace!
Love you forever,
Your brother

It is with heavy hearts that we say Goodbye to our good friend. We will miss him very much. Walter and I started to work with each other in 1979 at Esso Plaza (5th Avenue Place) and many more projects after. He was always fun to work with and always a smile on his face. He was a generous and caring man and a great friend. If you ever had the opportunity to have a meal with his family you would know he was a great cook and expert wine maker. I will always be thankful for his help when I built my first home, he would just show up and get to work. He was also a great hunting partner. The memories of our hunts and the laughter we enjoyed will always stay with me.
Sincerely
Andre and Sonia Richard

Cio Walter was always at my Christmas concerts in elementary, every Christmas dinner he would be the one at the head of the table telling jokes and telling stories about previous family dinners we had. One year when I was in second or third grade we stayed up in my Nonas basement playing “Just Dance” till 6am and I was so tired but I still got up and danced the night away with him, my Auntie JayJay and my cousin Sabrina. When my Nona and Grandpa lived on a acreage, he lived a few houses down and my grandpa and I would drive down on our tractor and I would see all his bird cages in the garage and ask about all his hunting stories. I was very proud to be his niece, he was always proud when I made honours, learned a new instrument, or begun playing a new sport. He was always very supportive to my dad and Nona. It’s heartbreaking over his passing. Rest In Peace Cio Walter . Fly high with the angels, they are lucky to have you.
Cio Walter was the greatest uncle and godfather.I will miss him dearly. We always looked forward for him to come over.He always wanted to share joy.It is hard to let him out of my life. But he will always be in my heart. You will be missed by many others and I. I miss you and love you. ❤️
Cio I still cannot believe you’re gone, you were such a strong, powerful person in my life, from a young age you were someone I looked up to and respected, God father to my twin girls, little brother to my mom, father to my baby cousin and god daughter , and loving husband to my Cia, you have impacted many many people in your life! I know you will be watching over us from above, heaven has gained an amazing man and Nona has her baby boy beside her once again.
I will miss you dearly and you will always be a part of me!
Love your nephew, Robbie
It is with great sadness and sorrow we lost a beautiful friend , I have so many fond childhood memories of him. Walter was such a beautiful soul , he was funny , smart , handsome , my friends had school girl crushes, he drove bad ass cars, framed our beautiful home in chestermere and it is because of him I have a love for birds especially singing canaries , he brought me my first male singing canary I was just a teenager but that one canary led to an amazing Avery that was both indoor and outdoor. I will miss you Walter , watch over your loved ones..see you when I get there. RIP friend
