So very sorry to learn of Jerry's passing.

I had the privilege of working for him at the Calgary Downtown Bay for a number of years.

His patience, kindness and wisdom were a blessing to us all.

To make you a better person.

Jerry was my boss at HBC in the Winnipeg Store from 1967 to 1969. He was a great teacher, a good friend, and a well respected Human Resources Manager. We shared many a laugh together and have kept in touch until his passing. Condolences to his family..

I laugh to myself when I think about Jerry and Mike's quiet antics at the back of the Kingdom Hall. I will miss seeing them tease each other as they see who will be picked to comment next. There will always be an empty spot at the Kingdom Hall for me now. I will patiently wait for his seat to be filled again with our much loved Jerry Jellison.

One special thing that I loved about Jerry was his warmth, even though we may have only known him for the last five years or so, he treated us like family that he had known all his life. His affinity for children was obvious. He always treated my two young girls as his own grandchildren. He would always ask them questions and show his kind personal interest in them. We will all dearly miss his presence in our lives and his beautiful smile. We look forward to a time when we can see him again... when he will be vibrant and healthy.

We had the privilege of getting to know Jerry over the last several years and always enjoyed his company. He was a lovely man, very thoughtful, happy and positive with an infectious smile. He will be missed until we can see him again.
