Condolences
Shirley was a near neighbour of our family down the block on Fitzgerald Avenue in Fort McMurray from the early years of Great Canadian Oil Sands startup in 1967.
She always lit up the room with a great smile and became known to the entire City of Fort McMurray.
She knew most by first name, enjoyed her family and was very upbeat during very difficult pioneering times in the oilsands industry.
I can say with honesty that everybody knew Shirley, her great smile and her upbeat words to cheer up the crowd.
We are so sorry to hear about her passing although we had not seen her in many years but as always she was proud of her family.
Shirley was a COMMUNITY PIONEER in Fort McMurray and our family now moved to Edmonton would like to pass on all our sincere condolences. We are privileged to have had her as a neighbour and friend for those great years.
Rest in Peace.
Bert and Caroline MacKay former neighbours at 11 Fitzgerald Avenue, Fort McMurray
Our condolences to all of the Morrow family. May your fond memories help to bring you peace during this difficult time. Dave & Pat.
