Condolences
Donna you will be greatly missed. Your laugh energized us all. Going to the flames vs Tampa game with you was awesome and you taking Jafer down to see the players up close. You are Jafer's favorite hockey aunt and always will be. Rest in peace my friend.
Donna's wit, humor and "Donna stories" were not to be matched. Her friendships, old, new, close or on occasion all meant so much to her. She nurtured those friendships, made each and every person feel special. Her caring about others was evident in those closest to her, friendships, and volunteering. What a work ethic, she liked to do a great job at work or at any job she was doing, and I loved the little tidbits of info. she would share to make life easier, she was such a smart lady. Her COURAGE these last couple of years, an inspiration. My deepest condolences to Andy, and Donna's family. I am so sorry for your loss of your dear Donna. Also to those that she saw regularly with her regular shift at the Food Bank as well as her dear neighbors that were so helpful to her. I know it will be hard not having her there. The rest of us, we all have a piece of our heart missing. But we all have the beautiful memories she has left with us that will continue to fill up that missing piece, her love and presence are felt. She made a difference and her loss is felt deeply. We go through life striving for the big things, trips, events, etc. at times, Donna enjoyed looking forward to exciting things planned, but she really appreciated the day to day little things in life, and I think this made her's, and everyone around her life extra special. Our family loved her. Love you always Donna, Maureen Van Ieperen,

I'll always remember Donna as a bubbly teen with a big smile on her face. And oh, how she loved watching the hometown hockey players, The Tigers, especially Tom Lyziak (unsure of that spelling) and Lanny McDonald. I still remember how excited Donna was when these players showed up at her house, I think when I was visiting at Christmas. I hadn't seen Donna in years but it was so nice to connect with her on social media. Rest in peace, Donna, Heaven's newest angel. Love from Betty and Doug Clements and family.
Sharon and family, deepest condolences! So very sorry about Donna! She was such a happy and bubbly person, so fun to be around. I always enjoyed our visits if I was lucky enough to meet up with Donna somewhere when she was in the Hat visiting over the years. Deepest sympathy and hugs! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!
My heartfelt condolences to you all. Donna was such a charismatic person. We went to school together and after graduation, we eventually worked together at AGT/Telus. I have wonderful memories of her, a lot which involve drinking and dancing! Such fun. Even though we no longer lived in the same city, our paths still crossed here and there and I am so grateful they did. I just loved that kid!!
Donna was a friendly face in times of adversity. She took passion in helping out at many charities, in which we shared the passion of volunteering with the Terry Fox Foundation and the CIBC Run for the Cure. Her gentle nature will be missed.
Donna, you were my sister and I am honoured that you were also my friend....you may now go and arrange to your hearts content all the Tupperware drawers for everyone, and keep the veggies in the microwave from eternal harm ....As you venture on your new journey, you will also I’m sure proceed as you did on this journey on your own terms with dignity and bravery . Take care my friend until I see you again......xxxooo
Dear Carolyn, Sophie, Benoit,

My sincerest condolences.. I have had the joy of cutting Donna's hair for 20+ years. We cried together when I shaved her head after her surgery..I loved seeing her vibrant face, her beautiful smile and her sweet laugh. I was blessed to have known Donna. My heart aches for the living who have to carry on with out her but she will be radiant and free when she reaches the heavens... God speed to you and your beautiful soul ❤
Donna loved her friends .. lunches, movies, theater, CIBC Cancer run ...she was always ready to go. The last time we were together November 2019 (lunch and a movie with Denine and Susan)
We cried at the end of the movie then I said .. see you when I get back ... she gave me a hug and said that this would be our last time together and we hugged a little longer. Rest in Peace Donna
