Condolences
Dear Nela, Daughters Ruta and Zita, Extended Family,
Our sincere, from the bottom of our hearts, condolences to the whole family, we were privileged to meet and befriend.
We only hope and wish the best to Nela and daughters, fully understanding the loss of dear husband and father, knowing him for over 35 years as a man to respect and follow. Unfortunately our life on this Earth is too short, so hoping that he deserved and is in right place enjoying eternal peace in the Father's House. Whatever, we hope that Kostas, as was the case here, cares for his loved ones and is preparing good place for them, family friends too, including us. AMEN. Gawor family.
Sužinoję liūdną žinią, siunčiame užuojautą poniai Nelei, tau Rūta ir tavo sesei Zitai.
Anapilin išėjo geras žmogus, mylintis tėtis, tikras Lietuvos patriotas.
Kartu su jumis – Budvyčių šeima iš Lietuvos.
Dear Rutha, Zita and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Father. Although I never met him, he seemed like a great man who lived life to the fullest. I send my sympathies, thoughts and prayers to you. My deepest condolences.
Dear Astravas Family,
Although we met only a few years ago, we have fond memories of our conversations with Kostas - what an amazing life he led!. We also remember with admiration the beautiful magic place Kostas had created on the Benchlands property for his family.
With our sincere condolences,
Heinz & Marilyn Unger (Upper Bench, Benchlands)
My biggest condolences to the entire family. And I am sorry I can't be there to be with you all at the memorial. He was such an exceptional man, lived an amazing life and was surrounded by such wonderful family. My grandfather loved him an incredible amount and always spoke about him. Huge bear hugs to you all.
Thinking of you, Rutha and Zita, and your mom Mrs. Astravas, with deepest sympathy. May your dear father rest in peace.

Our deep, from the bottom of our hearts, condolences and love to Kostas wife Nela, daughters Rutha and Zita and enlarged family all over the World, knowing him and being friends for about 35 years in Calgary, Canada.
Kostas will be remembered as brave and strong man and loving husband and father, missed not only by his family but our family as well, with a hope of meeting again in the God's house.
Rest in eternal peace Kostas
With love remain; Zofia, Anna (David Lorincz), Mariusz (Magdalena) and Janusz (Katarzyna) Gaworowie and grandchildren Wiktoria, Julia and Michelle.
Brangiosios Nele, Ruta ir Zita,
Prasau priimti musu nuosirdziausias uzuojautas del Kosto mirties.
Our family met Kostas and Nele (only two at the time) back in Calgary in the beginng of 1980’s, as they arrived from Toronto and we from Lithuania a bit earlier.
As a recent immigrant to Calgary, our families kept close. They kindly let us use their cabin in Kananaskis country.
For short period of time Kostas and myself worked for the same engineering company.
Kostas and myself shared couple common grounds, both engineers, born in Lithuania. Therefore, naturally we have no problems to discuss world and business affairs. I always was impressed by his open mind.
Rest in peace Kostas.
