Obituary of Mary Elizabeth McGOVERN (nee McGRATH)

Mary McGovern of Calgary, AB passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 at the age of 90 years.

Mary is survived by her loving daughter Catherine (David) Squibb; her loving sons, Sean McGovern, Martin (Vel) McGovern, and Larry (Christine) McGovern; her loving grandchildren, Ryan (Amanda), Amber (Mark), Aleta, Adam, and Mark; her loving great-grandchildren, Shyla, Diedra, and Liam; and her loving step-grandchildren, Robert (Priscilla) Squibb, and Dawn (Jason) Tryon. She is also survived by her loving sister Pat Keenan, as well as her loving nieces and nephews in England and Ireland.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Terence McGovern; her son Desmond McGovern; granddaughter Erin Tewsley; mother Charlotte McGrath; daughter-in-law Jessie McGovern.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (Corner of 4th Street & Northmount Drive NW, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Fr.
