Kenneth (Ken) Strickland passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020 at the age of 60 years.

Ken was born and raised in Calgary. He studied Telecommunications at NAIT and began a career with AGT(TELUS) in 1978 where he continued to work until his passing. Ken was a passionate member of the Calgary Flames Hockey Club organization since 1996 and more recently joined the Calgary Stampeders Football Club organization. Ken went above and beyond during his time with the Flames and was recognized for his humor, work ethic and commitment to customer service, receiving several Calgary White Hat award nominations for excellence in the tourism industry.

Ken is missed dearly by his partner Karen Cucheran and her daughter Vanessa Carroll whom he considered his own. He is also survived by his previous spouse Lori Life; son Jonathan Strickland; daughter and son-in-law, Karla and Bobby Hutchinson; and by his granddaughter Blake. Ken is also survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Patti and Kevin Brown and Deb and Vince Rulé, and Phil Ferguson. Ken was predeceased by his parents Roy (2002) and Nancy (2004) Strickland and by a daughter Victoria Strickland (2000).
