Condolences
We would like to express our sincere condolences to you in your loss of Susan. After viewing the on-line service and slide show I just want to say it was an amazing and meaningful tribute to her life and what an incredible and infectious smile Susan shared with everyone. We hadn't seen her in many years, but seeing that smile made it seem like yesterday! Now that the long and difficult journey has come to an end, a new journey begins for those left behind. May you find comfort from all your special memories and from each other.

Kevin, Mitchell and Paige,
My deepest sympathies in the loss of a wife, mother and dear friend.
I had the pleasure of sharing an office with Sue at Level 2 where we had many discussions from muscle cars to family. I miss our talks , but I smile when I think of how lucky I was to have had that time with her over lunch.
She always went out of her way to help a computer challenged senior get out of a Microsoft mess and if I needed a special proposal done for an important customer Sue was always there to help. I shall always be grateful.
She will be missed by many!

A Poem for Susan--
You can shed a tear that she is gone
Or you can smile because she has lived
You can close your eyes and prey that she will come back
Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left
Your heart can be empty because you cant see her
Or you can be full of the love you shared
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday
You can remember her and only that she is gone
Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back
Or you can do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on
I will always keep a part of you with me my dear friend, be at peace now.
Love Tracy

Dear Kevin, Mitchell, Paige, Adrian, Judy, Deanna and Family,
Although we knew Susan's fight was getting more and more difficult, we were very saddened to hear of her passing. She was the model of incredible strength, and determination. In addition to the intense love of her children, she left this tremendous example for them as well. Susan had the most charming smile, and gentle personality. Her family meant the world to her, and we know she meant the world to all of you. Be proud of the fact that you enriched her life, albeit too short, as much as she did yours. Not only will we remember Susan for her valiant battle with cancer, but the incredible strength she showed when you lost Bryan. We will always remember her witty mention, really question when she spoke at the service for him, and she asked if she was the only one who got a phone call from him while he was at the bathroom? She knew how to put people at ease, lift their spirits, at the most difficult of times. May all your memories, be like that one, and soon bring a smile to your lips as you remember the many things about Susan that bring smiles to all of us. She was one of the "good" ones, no, the really "great " ones. The time you had with her was so precious, and thankfully nothing can every take away your memories. May they bring you strength now, and in the future. And may they fill you with warmth and comfort each time they surface.
Sincerely,
Terry and Patty Atkinson
