Condolences
Hello, my long over due condolences to Marc, Mathew, and Christofer. I have very fond memories of Leslie, playing and "hanging out" with Ingrid and I out at "The Cabin". I remember her as a very kind, sensitive, and gentle person. It does not surprise me to read about a wonderful and giving person she was throughout her life. I have been thinking about you through your grief and I am so very sorry for your loss.
Dear Marc, Mathew and Christofer, on behalf of our family (Curt, Pat, Michelle, Hartley and Winston) I wish to extend our condolences on the passing of Leslie. As a member of our extended family, Leslie has been part of our lives and her passing hits close to home. It's unfortunate that we could not attend the funeral and be there to support you during this sad event. I (Curt) remember Leslie as always being a lively person who would always seek to engage you in conversation and take an interest in what was happening in your life. She will be missed, by all of us.
Dear Marc, Christofer, Matthew, Max and family,
I am sending my heartfelt condolences to all of you. I will greatly miss seeing Leslie and her beautiful spirit. She had a way of making everyone feel so cared for and welcomed into her life. Suzanne de Champlain
Marc, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It is hard to understand why such a young and bright light is being taken. Leslie will always be fondly remembered by many parishioners of St. Boniface.
Our heartfelt condolences.

Marc,
My sincere condolences to you and your family.
We are so saddened by your loss. Leslie touched the lives of so many in positive ways.
We met Leslie at an open house a few years ago and we decided to work with her to realize our dream of living on Crescent Road. She sold our downtown condo - we have a vivid picture of her showing up at our downtown place on her scooter with an ear to ear grin. It was fun to work with her and she was so knowledgeable. Next, she would call every owner of older homes along Crescent Road until we finally closed a purchase which would result in the home we live in today. Leslie was so committed, putting in a great deal of work in a hot market to help us realize our dream. And we loved working with her.
Once we moved into our new home we occasionally saw Leslie in the neighborhood. She always had a bright smile, and we loved catching up with her. We will miss her, and always remember her kindness and selflessness.
In the coming days I hope Marc, the boys, and Leslie's folks can find some solace in the positive things Leslie did for so many.

April 7, 2020.
We were so sad to read the notice today of Leslie’s passing.
In the short time that we’ve had the privilege of knowing her, she sweetly touched our lives.
We quickly came to appreciate her wonderfully courageous and incomparable spirit. We have the fondest memories of our time in Palm Springs and more recently, New Year’s Eve 2020.
Our thoughts are with Marc, the boys and her family.

I first met Leslie when she came to CBC Calgary for an interview about ovarian cancer. We had a nice long chat in the green room before she went to the set to talk to the host. We found we not only shared the same first name but lived in the same neighbourhood where we both walked our dogs on McHugh Bluff. Leslie was such a warm and friendly person. I enjoyed meeting her on the dog path over the last few years. I am so sorry to hear her fight has come to an end and so sorry for the deep loss her family is feeling at this time. Please accept my sincere condolences.
