My sincere condolences to Joan and family. I met Gary and Joan in 1957 when Gary and I were articling with Price Waterhouse in Calgary. One of my fond memories is a weekend hike to Mount Assiniboine. What a wonderful weekend that was! Rest in peace Gary.

Jim and I were so very saddened to hear of Gary’s passing. My goodness, I will truly miss his smiling kind face. I always enjoyed our chats when we would see each other out and about walking on Lakeview Road in Invermere. He was such a wonderful listener, always interested in anything I had to say. He will be sorely missed, I considered him a good friend. Lakeview Road won’t be the same without him.

I was saddened to read this obituary of Gary Trimble in the Herald today. My sincere condolences to Joan and family. He was such a nice person and I will miss seeing him at the Icelandic club events. So sorry that this Covid-19 is keeping up away and we cannot visit in person, Joan but my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

Whenever I saw Gary at Acadia Pool, he had a big smile and time to chat. He truly was a gentle man.
