Obituary of Gary Dean TRIMBLE

June 10, 1932 - Red Deer, Alberta
April 8, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Gary Dean Trimble died peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. He leaves to celebrate his life, his wife of sixty-two years, Joan, his son Dean and his granddaughter Anna. He was predeceased by his son Craig and his sisters Joan and Dawn.

Gary was born and raised in Red Deer, graduated from U of A with a B. Comm and went on to become a Chartered Accountant. Early in his career he was transferred with Price Waterhouse to Zurich Switzerland. That stimulated a life-long love of travel and photography.

Gary loved being in the mountains, hiking, skiing and taking photos. The family built a cabin at Invermere and for sixty-two years it was his favorite retreat.

He was a member of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity where he made many life-long friends. He enjoyed people, was a wonderful listener and keen to join in almost any adventure. He belonged to the Icelandic Club and the Southern Alberta Pioneers and in 2017 the Trimble Family were the Stampede Parade feature Pioneer Family.

A gentle, kind, generous gentleman. He will be sorely missed.

A Private Funeral Service will be held at a later date. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Gary’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
