Condolences
It was with great sadness& a feeling of loneliness upon hearing of Norm's passing as our life's path crossed many times. We started in grade one in the little one room school house in Pearl Ontario averaging 15 students, grades one to nine.
The last few years we spoke regularly by phone reminding each other of the kids of that time, secret fishing holes and other events long past.
He was my last living connection of that time and I was his. My condolences to his family. The library of life has lost another full story. I for one will miss him greatly.
Henry (Hank) Holm
There are people who stand out and therefore they stand apart from most. Whenever I got to hear some of the stories that made Dean's Pops memorable, I recognized how it made him standout. What a treat to know people with the gift of stories and the gift of story telling. This had me feel connected to something larger than any of us, and connected to a large life in Dean's Pops. For the opportunities I had with him, I am grateful, and shall miss future encounters with such a larger than life fella. In reverence, a family friend, Carmen Person.
