Heart felt condolences to my cousin, Mark's immediate family and all his close relatives. It was a shock to hear of his passing. My prayers and thoughts are with you as you prepare to lay him to rest tomorrow. It's a big loss to your family and our community. May Creator bless you with strength and courage as you begin your life without him. Take courage in the knowledge that you will meet him again one happy day.

O'ki Francis and the family....
First of all i want to say we the extended family of our brother Mark, Down Beater, Poycette send our deepest condolences and our prayers for strength at this most difficult time....
Mark as you know was close to our Day Chief/White Feathers family. He sang with us for a few years and we dubbed him our Down Beater. He down beated our drum so hard and he didn't stop until the head of his drum stick fell off lol. When that happened, the rest of us singers almost lost it but we held it together until finish of the song.... Mark was always welcome at our drum anywhere we would meet him at any given powwow.
We the family just want to say to you the family that we will miss him dearly. He was our brother in every way.... He was truly a gentleman with how he spoke to others and his smile was so contagious that when we met him any where, we couldn't help but smile back....
Finally to his children and his wife. I know he loved y'all sssoooo much and it showed in how he would do anything for y'all. Ikakimaaka, (try hard) my family. Know that we your extended family will be praying for you all. To our little brother Mark Jr., we are here for you as the rest of your family and please keep on keeping on little brother because your dad would want that for you.... Don't stop, carry on your dad's legacy and his passion for life and his culture. Your the man now and remember, if you need anything, we are just a call away or a Facebook message away....
On behalf of the Day Chief/White Feathers family, ikakimaaka my relatives and know we are always here for y'all and we will continue to support you thru our smudges and prayers.... Aho....
To our brother Mark, Rest in Peace Brother and its not good bye, it's we'll see you again in that powwow celebration in the spirit world.... Hoka....
To my Stoney Family, we send our deepest sympathy and condolences. What a shock it was to hear that uncle Mark has passed on. We are most deeply saddened to know he has begun his journey. I and the family her in Piikani have so many memories of uncle. It's so hard to believe he is gone, what makes it more sad is this COVIDE-19 Pandemic may keep us from coming to spend the last few days with him, for his wake and funeral. We send prayers to the family, may creator guide, protect and strengthen you all during this extremely difficult time. Frances, Marcia, Marika, Junior and family. We send all our love and prayers.
Rest In Peace Uncle Mark, We will miss you sooo much and we will always Love you.
