Condolences
I met Wayne at Harvest Hills golf course, where we both started work. We developed a great friendship, both working and playing golf, which we tried to do as often as possible. I was very blessed to know Wayne for 20 years, he will truly be missed.

Our deepest condolences to all the Carroll family from the MacDougall family in Ottawa, Byron, Sarah, Jack and Allan.
My memories of Wayne are mostly as Joanne’s big brother, when we were growing up in Margaree, and later reconnecting at family functions. It was always a pleasure having a “catch up” chat with Wayne.
Our deepest condolences to Wayne’s family and friends. You are in our thoughts during this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to Wayne’s family and friends. He was a terrific man with a great sense of humour. I will always cherish his friendship and the many fun times we had. I often think of all the funny one-liners and jokes he used to tell. Wayne improved the world for everyone he came in contact with. He always showed up and supported his friends and talked so proudly of his family. Miss you buddy.

Sympathy to the family of Wayne Carroll formally of Margaree Forks, we remember Wayne as a gentle and kind man with his smile and stories, and walking to school together in our school days. Anne (Chiasson) MacKinnon
I was very fortunate to have met Wayne in the spring of 2001 when he applied for a job with us at Harvest Hills Golf Course. Obviously we hired him and he became one of my best friends. Wayne was a very valued employee and always had an ear to listen to anybody's stories or personal issues. Wayne continued to work at Harvest Hills until they closed the course in 2016. After a short stint at another course he came to Collicutt Siding Golf Club in 2018. He was always very dedicated to his job at any of the courses he had worked at. He loved golf but his true sports love was his Chicago Blackhawks. Wayne did like his food. He was a big pizza guy but his favorite breakfast was the Texas Scramble at Harvest Hills. Susan, Darren and I would like to send our deepest condolences to all of Wayne's family and friends. Wayne had a lot of great sayings over the years but one I will always remember is from when we were clearing snow at the Driving Range at Harvest Hills in the dead of winter.
"God made golf a summer sport for a reason!"
Get those golf courses in great shape in heaven for all of us when we get there!
He will be greatly missed in all our lives!
My sympathies to Wayne's family. I remember Wayne when he worked at the golf course in Margaree. Great guy. Sorry for your loss.
Wayne worked at the Harvest Hills GC and driving range while I was the Manager there.. Wayne was known as a loyal employee and friend to many of us.. You could always count on Wayne.. we had many a chance to talk Chicago Blackhawks and was he ever in his glory during those winning years with Jonathan Toews leading the way! We'll see you down the road my friend!

Worked with Wayne at golf course last few years he was big help with crosswords had good sense of humour enjoyed the stories from previous golf courses he will be missed sorry to hear about his passing
I had the great privilege of working with Wayne at the Harvest Hills Golf Course for many years. To say he was kind would be an understatement. I enjoyed our time having long discussions about world events, politics, curling, hockey and so much more, We swapped recipes often and compared who made the best lasagne, chili and meatloaf. ( To be honest, Wayne's chili was the undisputed champ). Wayne always gave more than he received and would never ask for anything but would be the first person to help out in anyone. We considered Wayne a part of the family at HHGC and I will always be grateful for the time I spent with him, The world is richer for Wayne having been a part of it. He will be missed, but certainly fondly remembered in our hearts.
