My sincere condolences to everyone who knew John. I first met John Sr. over 40 years ago when he was running his bricklaying business. He was friendly, inviting and very Danish! He had a red 5 ton work truck that had, what I thought, was a rather small engine. I told him he needed a bigger engine for that size a truck. He told me, “I need a bigger engine like I need a hole in my head”. Among other things, I will remember Mr. Jensen as a very artistic/creative person. There were many examples of his practical Danish side. His “castle” cabin at Red Deer Lake is my favorite example; form, function, practical ,unique.
