Condolences
My family grew up on 96th Ave S.W. Calgary, and grew up with and knew the Kletke family longer than most. My fondest memory was of Ronald using his reel to reel tape recorder and playing the organ and singing, the house filled with music.
To David , Donald , And Douglas: my heartfelt sorrow at the passing of your dad, but the world is a bit silent without Rons voice, and hid big personality
Sincerely
Donald Horwood

Mrs. Linda Kletke and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss, Ron's passing, Ron and I became friends at Mckenzie Towne Rivera.
Ron was my dad, Luis Ortiz, neighbor, and he became a great grandpa to our grand daughter Sophie, they both laughed together, she amused him with what ever she could find. Ron and I shared alot of stories, and shared the love of music, I know he will be missed so much by you all. He was very very proud of you all.
May the memories put smiles back on your faces, and wipe the tears,
much love, Amaya Ortiz
I came to know the Kletke family through the Church of the Cross in Winnipeg and sang in the senior choir as did Ron. It was then that I also learned of Ron's musical talent when after choir practice was over and the choir director had left Ron would perform his musical talent on the church organ. Linda and her family were also members of the Church of the Cross. Linda's brother Don and I became fast friends as I spent many hours at the Lerch home . When Ron and Linda married and moved to Calgary Don later was transferred to Calgary with his work and lived with Ron & Linda. I moved to Lethbridge and began to spend my weekends in Calgary at the Kletke's where I developed a friendship with Linda & Ron and watched their family grow one by one until there were Doug, Don & David. Over the years I was fortunate to experience many of the good times with Linda, Ron, Doug, Don & David. The Grey Cup Games were a big part of those days when Ron & Bill would follow up with their songs & music. I also saw Ron senior & Ron jr. purchase the Oil City Press and when Ron sr. passed on Ron & Linda continued to build the business until it was time to pass it on. The tradition continues under Doug,David & Pam. I have many more memories of Ron,Linda and family but will save for another day.
I wish to send my condolences and love to Linda, Doug, Don, David, their families and Ron's sister Judy.
Through my treasured friendship with Dave Kletke I have come to know the entire Kletke family over most of my life.
I am so honoured to have known Ron and I can see that his talents, integrity, ambition and good humour have been bestowed among every one of his family. He lives on in all of you.
To the Kletke family I offer my most sincere condolences, but also my admiration and love.

I was so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I will always have such fond memories of his sense of humour, his music and bigger than life personality. He had such a way of making me feel so welcome in his home and a part of the family.
My sincerest condolences to the family, you are in my thoughts.

Sorry for the loss of Ron. I enjoyed singing with him at hymn sing and will miss our duet and had fun jamming with him too. He was a very nice guy and will be missed
To Linda, Doug, Don, Dave and families;
Very sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I remember many a fun time at the Kletke's when I was young, listening to music with Don, Doug and Dave and pretending we were in a band! The house was always happy and full of laughs. My sincere condolences to the whole family at this very sad time.

Nicely crafted obit. Glad to see Bill Volk mentioned; one of my first thoughts on receiving the phone call from my sister-in-law Linda, envisaged Ron and Bill playing their marvellous music together again. They were so good, and so much fun.
We will always remember Ron fondly: his music his sense of humor the camping trips, the family gatherings, the many trips together. I could go on and on. It was sad to see him failing but he is now in a better place. Love, Don & Sharon
Doug and Family.
Sorry to hear about the your loss.
Out thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
God Bless
