Janis, Keith and I grew up together. We lived within a few blocks from each other. Went to school together, grew up together and matured together. She was a true friend and everyone she touched was better for knowing her. We lost touch over the years but I will always remember her infectious smile.
Auntie Janis was always so upbeat, I loved her laugh, I always looked forward to seeing her on her summer visits to Oakville, ON. This is the picture of her that I hold in my heart, from our visit to Calgary in 2013. Uncle Keith, thank you so much for your wonderful care through to her last moments. Sending love to the family.
